Local author Wallace Kaufman has written hundreds of articles on natural history, business, and economics. His books include Invasive Plants: Guide to Identification and the Impacts and Control of Common North American Species, Coming Out of the Woods : A Memoir, No Turning Back, and The Beaches Are Moving: The Drowning of America's Shoreline. Kaufman provides mediation services and is a volunteer mediator in the District Court.
