Schumacher has published two collections of poetry, Spilling the Moon and The Fire Diaries. Blueprints for Spiderwebs and Favorite Maritime Drinking Songs of the Miraculous Alcoholics are in the works. He serves as poetry editor for a magazine of New Fabulism named Phantom Drift.
