By donating one of these books to the Newport Library, you can be sure you’re meeting an immediate and specific need, and your donation will be tax deductible.

To participate, please follow these steps:

• Go to the Newport Library's Amazon Wish List page. Select the books you want to add to the Library’s collection. (Note: although Amazon will suggest additional books for your consideration, please do not purchase books that are not on the Wish List.)

• When you have finished selecting, proceed to the checkout. If you don't already have an Amazon account, you will need to create one with their easy and secure form.

• Select the shipping address for the Newport Public Library.

• At the bottom of the Shipping Details page, check the box by Gift Options and click on Continue.

• Enter the words, 'First Loan' and your email address in the text box on the right side of the page.

• Complete your purchase. You will be notified by the Library that your generous donation was received.

• Once the book is processed and ready to check out, we will notify you that the book is on hold for you!

• If you prefer to donate through a local bookseller, you can purchase a gift certificate and send or bring it to the library.
