This program is a great way for kids to learn the fundamentals of volleyball and skill development. Kids will reach personal and team goals while having fun in the process. Registration is open to girls wanting to play on Newport teams.

Practices will be on weeknights.

Games will be held on Saturdays at various locations in Lincoln County.

Toledo will be run through the JR League.

The league will consist of Saturday play starting at 4:30pm. The season will start by doing drills and skill building games followed by scrimmages. Starting in January, coaches will divide players into teams and play a normal league schedule. Starts in December and continues through February. Space is limited in each division.

Youth enrolled in our basketball program get the opportunity to play games against teams from around Lincoln County. Practices are held on weeknights at various Newport locations and games are held on Saturday around the county. There will be a skills assessment for kids so teams can be divided evenly. Players are expected to attend all practices and games. Failure to do so may result in loss of playing time. 1st-2nd graders play on coed teams. 3rd graders and up are split into boy and girl leagues.

From a coaching point of view, the best way to develop a player is by putting them in situations where you have to play every aspect of the game. When playing in a 3-on-3 game, all offensive and defensive skills are needed for a player and team to have success.

Fee: $35 per player (Price includes 10-game guarantee. Must create your own team of 3-4 players)
