Liven up your night with Tango! First hour will be a class for beginners to get them out on the dance floor learning Argentine Tango. This will be followed by a two hour ‘practica’ from 3:00 to 5:00 (practice dancing with all levels of tango dancers – help available on request). New students are always welcome.
Are you curious about what lives below the tides? Want to know what’s safe to eat in an emergency situation (or a fun dinner party)? Join us for an exciting exploration of tidepools. We will explore what creatures inhabit these ever-changing environments and take a look at the many seaweeds of the Oregon coast.
Date: Saturday, May 11th at 11:30 am – 1 pm
Location: Meet at Seal Rock State Park
Cost: $8 per adult, $5 per youth (16 and under) or $20
(pre-registration is required, register by May 5th)
Space is limited to 15. While everyone is welcome, please be aware there is a steep hill down to the beach with a paved trail. Wear sturdy shoes that can get wet or rubber boots. The rocks will be slippery. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Shimmy and roll your way into a greater level of fitness and artistry with belly dance! This course covers classical Egyptian, Turkish, American Tribal Style and fusion belly dance. All levels are welcome.

Dance around the world with world champion dancer Tehani! Each week we will explore a new culture, dance and rhythm from a different region of the globe. From Latin (salsa & merengue) to Polynesian, Tahitian, Maori to Middle Eastern.
Week 1: Latin
Week 2: Polynesian
Week 3: Belly Dance
Week 4: American Social Dances (foxtrot, swing, etc.)
These fun, engaging and cardio-packed classes for all levels are offered each weekend. Classes with the most interest will become available as ongoing classes in future sessions.
