The City of Newport is " The Friendliest. "
The 60+ Activity Center offers the chance to join existing social groups. Every occasion here is an opportunity to get social. People have gained lifelong friendships from attending one or more of our activities. Most of our social groups are FREE.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00 - 11:45 AMbingo cards

A game in which players mark off numbers on cards as the numbers are drawn randomly by a caller. Winners receive non-monetary prizes


Tuesday 5:30 - 9:00 PM, Friday 1:15 - 5:00 PM, Second Saturday Monthly 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

bridge card game

A fun trick-taking game played with a standard card deck.





Third Thursday monthly 1:00 - 3:00 PM

red dice

A fun game tossing dice and counting scores.




Cribbage involves playing and grouping cards in combinations which gain points. Cribbage uses a board for score-keeping.



DOMINOES (Mexican Train)

A Chinese tile game with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols.

A bidding and trick-taking card game for two to four people that is played with either a single deck, or a double deck.

A board game in which words are formed by placing lettered tiles in a pattern similar to a crossword puzzle.

Wii Bowling is similar to normal bowling. The player attempts to knock down 10 pins with a ball.
